Kargita is a family campsite that is located right along the sea, in a beautiful bay which ends at the top of Dugi Otok (Long Island). It is located on the northwestern tip of the island Dugi Otok. This little part of the world is protected and has been declared a significant Croatian landscape. Surrounded by the sea and forrest, this campsite is a quiet little corner for those who want to escape from everyday life a bit. The gentle rocky beach in front of the camp is one of the most beautiful beaches on Dugi Otok.
The campsite is only 300 meters away from the highest lighthouse on the Adriatic and it offers a unique view of this great guardian of the sea and maritime passengers.
Enchanting sunsets will surely awaken the romance in you. We tried to stay away from touching the natural beauty of the camp, in order to perserve the environment and keep it as it has always been. The plots are suitable for the accommodation of campers, camp trailers or tents and each plot has the ability to connect to power outlets. We understand that you are on vacation and sometimes you just don't want to cook! Don't worry, there is a catering facility right on hand, where you will be able to try some local Dalmatian dishes, as well as dishes that are well-known to you. Enjoy a delicous meal in the shade, or maybe just a coffee, cold summer drink, cocktails… As you please. Oh yeah! An original pristine beach, pebbles in the sea, and and a crystal clear sea… Isn't this a good enough invitation for anyone who wants to enjoy real primeval nature? Welcome!
